May CWFC Meet-up; Adoption, Fostering, and GAL

Ever felt led to open your home and heart to a child or children in need? We are going to have experienced members presenting their “story”, Information about the licensing process, the first night with a new child, surviving the court process, and the things they wished they’d known beforehand as well as offering time to get your questions answered. We will have several experienced foster-to-adoption parents and social workers and information/application packets. We will also have Melissa Bell, Forsyth county Guardian adLitem Program Supervisor present to share about GAL. If adoption or fostering is out of reach for you and family, this may be a great fit.
