Come and hear from two very special speakers.
Paul Bledsoe will speak about the Lions Club. What the mission and vision is of their organization and the open volunteer opportunities they have for those of us here in Forsyth County.
Next, we will have Dale Folwell speaking. He has put his name in the hat to run as Governor of North Carolina for 2024 race.
He has been the North Carolina State Treasurer since 2017. He also spent four terms in North Carolina House of Representatives, including a term as speaker pro tempore from 2011 to 2013. He was head of the state's Division of Employment Security in the administration of Governor Pat McCrory from 2013 to 2015. He was elected State Treasurer in the 2016 election, taking office on January 1, 2017. He was then reelected to a second term in 2020, defeating Democratic challenger Ronnie Chatterji.
